Earthy and slightly woody in flavor, Pau d’Arco is made from the inner bark of the Tabebuia tree, native to South America. Traditionally brewed as a tea, it has been treasured for centuries in indigenous herbal practices.

Ingredients:
Dried Pau d’Arco inner bark (Tabebuia impetiginosa).

Preparation:

• Use 1–2 tsp per 8 oz. of hot water

• Simmer gently for 10–15 minutes rather than simple steeping

• Strain before drinking
